We are Harry Bird and the Rubber Wellies, a Bilbao,
Dublin and Groningen based folk band with a love of suitcases and friendly
hands holding spoons with lentils…
The band is formed of guitarist and singer Harry Bird,
fiddle player and multi-tasker Christophe Capewell, percussionist, accordian player
and vocalist Paddy Durkan and formerly singer and novelty instrumentalist Maria
Blackwell.
Long Way to be
Free is our debut
album. It is available in Tower Records and Celtic Note (Dublin), Bell, Book
